2019 Memory Verses (Aug-Dec)
This Bible verse memorization project started in August of 2019, so there are only 5 months of verses for the year of 2019.

In December we celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. Our verses for December show that Christ was God in the flesh, made in the likeness of men.
John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Phil 2:5-7 - Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Our verses for November remind us that we are to have a thankful spirit.
2 Cor 9:15 - Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
Phil 4:6-7 - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Our verses for October, September, and August of 2019, all show the exclusiveness of Jesus Christ, which was the topic of a sermon by Pastor Cowan in July of 2019, and the motivation to start this project on Bible Verse Memorization.
